New and old members come together at our annual 20-Somethings retreats
New members are one of the most important aspects of the Catholic 20-Somethings Ministry; it is what makes us a dynamic growing community of young Catholics in Austin. We realize that joining a new group can be intimidating and new members may be curious about what we do and who we are. After all, we were all new members once, too!
We offer several events and opportunities for new people to learn more about us. We meet for Mass at 5 p.m. every Sunday at St. Theresa Catholic Church and then head out to dinner afterward. We often play sand volleyball on Wednesdays. Our monthly New Member Happy Hours and New Member Board Game Nights are specifically geared toward you. For Happy Hour, we usually meet at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Game nights are usually on the last Friday of the month. Of course, since joining a large group can be intimidating, there are nearly 200 of us, members from our Leadership Team would be more than happy to meet with you individually over coffee to tell you about our group and slowly introduce you to everyone. If this is something you’re interested in contact anyone on the leadership team!
