20-Somethings’ Service is tasked with leading and planning opportunities for our fellow 20-somethings to put their faith into action on a regular basis by serving those in need in our Austin community. Examples of potential projects may include working with the homeless to provide food and clothing, visiting the sick and elderly, visiting the imprisoned through criminal justice ministry, helping others plug into the parish as volunteers (RCIA, youth ministry, etc.). The possibilities are endless!
In terms of the big picture, our mission as a core team is simple. Because we (the Catholic 20-Somethings) are a group of individuals who come together because of our love for Jesus, we have the amazing opportunity to serve our community while seeing the face of Christ in those we serve. At the same time, we also have the potential to share God’s compassion and love with those we serve - through our actions, our words, our relationships, etc. Come join us!
