Trey Ange: Coordintor
Trey@catholic20somethings.com
Trey Ange is a proud Louisiana native (HEY YALL!!!) who has been actively involved with the Catholic 20-Somethings ministry since he moved to Austin in August 2006.  Trey graduated with a degree in Mass Communication from McNeese State University in May 2006.  Born and raised a hardcore Catholic in Lake Charles, Trey loves his faith, going to mass, watching movies, socializing, and entertaining people with his extroverted humor. However, he is constantly struggling to grow closer to Christ, and encouraging others do the same. Trey works for the Catholic Diocese of Austin and he is a parishioner at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church.  Trey’s favorite thing about Austin is the Catholic 20-Somethings ministry, and he has been a small group leader as well as the Communications Coordinator. Trey is now honored to serve as the Coordinator for the Catholic 20-Somethings Leadership Team. We’ll see yall!

Justin Golbabai: Spirituality Chair
Justin@catholic20somethings.com
Justin is a Fightin’ Irish (”04) Jayhawk (”06) from Windsor, Connecticut. He has proudly kept the 20 Somethings groaning with his puns since February 2007. Prior to coming to Austin to work as a Budget Analyst at City Hall, Justin was a volunteer for the Houston Catholic Worker, where he lived and worked with immigrants, refugees, and the poor. He has served the 20 Somethings as a small group leader, new member chair, and was the ministry’s coordinator from August 2008 to December 2009. Justin is truly thankful that through the 20 Something he has made some of his best friends, friends with whom he can laugh, pray, and discuss the meaning and purpose of life.

Hailey Allen: Service Chair

Sabrina Vega: Social Chair
Sabrina@catholic20somethings.com
Sabrina joined the 20-somethings in February of 2009 and her life has been fantastic ever since. Born in Houston, and a Bobcat from Texas State, she moved to Austin in 2007 for friends and a job and finally found her place with the Catholic community. Her passions include dance, musical theatre, graphic design, music, fitness, cooking and traveling. She has been involved with many organizations and event planning across Austin, and is blessed to bring her talent for bringing people together to the 20-somethings. As social coordinator, Sabrina hopes to continue to bring people together to grow their relationships with each other and with God. Her knack for creativity gives her the superpowers to create and market fun events for all to attend and have a blast at. Her grandfather said that you should always surround yourself with people like you and better than you. She hopes to bring Catholics together to have fun and grow closer to each other while maintaining a supportive Christ filled atmosphere for everyone.

Kelly Dupen: New Member Chair
Kelly@catholic20somethings.com
Kelly has lived in Texas for many years, but she and her nomadic family also lived in California, Tennessee and Washington while she was growing up. She attended the University of Dallas, where she gained a lot of experience in planning, advertising and hosting social activities by serving as an active member of the Residence Hall Association, a peer minister for the Campus Ministry program, and as the R.A. of her dorm. She has been making art ever since she could hold a crayon, and she is currently working as a freelance illustrator while pursuing an MFA in Illustration. In addition to her artistic endeavors, she also enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing a mean game of Scrabble! Kelly was honored to be chosen for the Leadership Team, and is so excited about the work she’ll be doing with the Catholic 20-Somethings. She is particularly glad that the role of New Member Chair will provide her with many opportunities to help new members feel welcome and discover the unique gifts that they can bring to the group, because Kelly is always happiest when she’s encouraging others!
