3rd Annual 20-Somethings Retreat, 2008
God has called us to be sons and daughters of the light - a light of hope for the Church, for our country and for all humanity. The 20-Somethings ministry aims to connect Catholic adults between the ages of 20 - 29 to a faith community through activities centered around spirituality, service & fellowship. We hope the group will be an effective tool to connect young adults with Jesus Christ and his challenge to bring the Gospel - with its message of hope - to society.

The Mission of the Catholic 20 Somethings Ministry is to form a generation of Catholic saints.
What is the Vision of the vibrant Catholic 20-Somethings Ministry?
General
• To be faithful to the teachings and Magisterium of the Catholic Church
• To focus on the needs of the 20 to 29 age demographic
• To empowers the talents and passions of our members
• To strive to be the best Catholic young adult group in the country!
Spiritually
• To strive for holiness in everyday life
• To pray for one another
• To increase the level of knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith
• To be committed to the devotions such as Adoration and the Most Holy Rosary
Service
• To answer Christ’s call, “What you do unto the least of these people, you do unto me”
• To actively engage in the Works of Mercy and expands our comfort zone in the process
• To engages in both direct service and justice
• To provide support to St. Theresa’s parish
New Member/Social
• To welcome and care for one another
• To form friendships based on the pursuit of virtue and holiness (Aristotle said this was the highest form of friendship)
• To grow our ministry: To attract new members and fully engage the talents and passions of our existing members
Communications and Culture
• To form a culture of faith, hope, of love that is reflected in all we do
• To provide a faithful witness of truth, goodness, and beauty to our American culture
• To put Christ in the center of music, art, film, the web, and the written word
• To fully inform members of the happenings within the Catholic 20 Somethings Ministry
