Welcome to the Web site for the 20-Somethings ministry at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Austin, Texas. The Catholic 20 Somethings is a ministry of faith, service, culture, and friendship for Austin-area Catholics ages 20 to 29 with a mission to form a generation of Catholic saints.
God has called us to be sons and daughters of the light – a light of hope for the Church, for our country and for all humanity. We hope the 20-Somethings ministry will be an effective tool to connect young adults with Jesus Christ and his challenge to bring the Gospel - with its message of hope - to society.
Aristotle said that the best kind of friendship is based on goodness, and such friendship is rare. It is this type of friendship among peers that are in the same stage of life that makes the Catholic 20 Somethings special.
Trail of Lights
As the largest young adult ministry in Central Texas, we are blessed to have a critical mass of young adults to facilitate a variety of activities which are kept up to date on our calendar. Some of these activities include:
• 5:30 Mass and Dinner (Weekly)
• Small Faith Sharing Groups (Weekly)
• Music Team (Twice Monthly)
• Service Events (Monthly)
• Prayer Team Meetings and Spiritual Speakers (Monthly)
• New Member Happy Hours (Monthly)
• Mission Trip to Mexico (Annually)
• Retreat (Annually)

Small Group
The leadership, organization, and planning of events for the Catholic 20 Somethings comes from four Core Teams.
• Spiritual Core Team (The God Squad)
• Service Core Team (You Got Served!)
• Communications and Culture Core Team (C4)
• New Member and Social Core Team (Connect Four)
All members are encouraged to share their talents and passions by joining a core team. Coordination among the core teams is facilitated by the Leadership Team. Members are kept up to date of events by the email, and so the first step in becoming involved with the Catholic 20 Somethings is to signup for our email list.
